Product Description and Application
GH4080A is a Ni-Cr based precipitation hardening deformable superalloy with a service temperature below 800℃. The alloy is mainly strengthened by the addition of aluminum and titanium elements to form precipitation strengthening phases. The alloy exhibits good creep and oxidation resistance in the temperature range of 650℃~850℃. The alloy has good cold and hot workability. Main products include hot-rolled and forged bars, cold-drawn bars, hot-rolled plates, cold-rolled plates, strips and ring-shaped parts, etc.
GH4080A has been used to manufacture rotor blades, guide vane supports, fan-shaped parts mounting rings, bolts, blade locking plates and other parts for aero-engines. In addition, it is also used to manufacture fasteners and blades for automobile engines, and valves and shafts for trains. In recent years, with the development of the domestic and foreign shipbuilding industry, this alloy has been widely used in the manufacture of valves for marine engines. After long-term aging at 700℃~850℃ for 1000h, no TCP phase is precipitated.
